Disconnection


DISCONNECTION (PERMANENT - DUE TO NON-PAYMENT)

When customer has not settled their bill for the past 2 billing months, JBALB shall carry out disconnection procedures due to non-payment. The procedures are as follows:

 

 

DISCONNECTION (DUE TO MOVING OUT FROM PREMISE/QUARTERS)

In case of consumers who wish to disconnect due to moving out from premise or government quarters, the following procedures can be used:

Failure to pay the remaining balance as appeared in final water bill, JBALB shall update consumers particulars of non-payment in Credit Checking System (CCS), which will be shared with other water utility agencies, causing consumers will not be able to apply for new connection.

 

DISCONNECTION (TEMPORARY)

Application for temporary disconnection shall apply to all temporary disconnection whereby the applicant wishes to temporarily terminate and intend to occupy the premise again sometime in future
