On 1st March 2021, a briefing session on the latest developments of the Bintulu Water Supply Project to Dato’ Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom, Minister of Utilities Sarawak was held at JBALB Bintulu Office. The briefing was given by Mr Ir Tie Tung Ing, Northern Region Manager. 
Also present during the session was Mr Lai Kien Hong (Bintulu Division Water Engineer), officers from the Bintulu Resident Office and heads of departments.
